Accommodation tax exemption points and rates will be changed in accordance with Osaka Prefectural Ordinance from September 1, 2025.
Notice of Osaka Lodging Tax Revision
In accordance with Osaka Prefecture ordinance, effective September 1, 2025, the lodging tax exemption point will be reduced from the current point of less than 7,000 yen to less than 5,000 yen.
We kindly ask for your understanding that you will continue to be charged the lodging tax based on your room rate.
